question.....i finally got my engine out my 91 300zx 2+2. unfortunatlly one of my engine mounts are in two. should i go by the stock mounts or get the ne and improved mounts? and if i do get the new and improved will it matter if i have new headers on?

 

Stock or urethane are good replacements.

 

2nd. stock will work fine unless you have some high hp and need solid mounts, or upgraded mounts of some type.

 

solid diamond motor mounts.

But really if you plan on going fast, you might as well upgrade now when you "have" to. Otherwise you are going to put it off and screw something else up later. Good luck!!

 

well sounds like he is sticking to N/A motor so i dont think he has much need to spend lots of money on mounts made to take lots of power.

 

My motto is if it breaks, upgrade. A poly bushing is not that expensive and well worth it.

no no i have a decent type rate but i mess up alot so i get slowed down ther. if you dont type good you get flamed, the only thing this site truly doesnt put up wtih for to long. at least they used to not. latley they have gotten lazy and only complain when a 2 page story is one paragraph. i type 120 words per minute. high school made me learn that.but im outt that place and into lewis U
