I was going to say the same thing. It's a gimic. An electric blower will never blow enough air volume to make a difference. It would work similar to the Ram Air induction the Pontiac Firebirds used not too long ago. A conventional supercharger is monitored by the ECU. As more air is forced in, more gas is needed, so the ECU handles that. Much more happens than that, but you get the idea. The electric fan would wind up doing about the same thing as the "Tornado" It would speed up the air going into the combustion chamber, but wouldn't be able atomize the air and fuel; which is what the Tornado claims to be able to do. BTW, the Tornado is a waste of $ also. Buy a K&N air filter for the car and you'll get better performance than the the fan gimic. The air from the fan would probably not even be enough to keep up with the vacuum produced by the engine.

2nd. It's a good gimic though...a lot of people buy them thinking that they're getting a supercharger for $100.

I wonder where one would install those at?
If before the MAF, would it damage the MAF?
If after, wouldn't you need two?

Check out the www.turbonator.com website under the feedback section. A guy with a stock Neon claims that he reduced his 1/4 times by 1 second. Others say things like "The performance of my Caprice increased by 10-15%.", or "It felt like I gained 20 HP." Nothing like a ittle false advertising.

BTW, I have no idea where you'd put this thing. It would probably work best being placed next to the horn, or maybe the headlight. It sure as hell won't do anything no matter where you put it in the intake.

Well Riz remember my engine design? Im going to have to have a set of these fans on it until the Turbos kick in, at which point theyll shut off. Due to there is no downed piston to create suction. But yea, I guess it would go on your final intake piping. If it were too close to the Mass Air Flow meter, it would damage it. So you would have to buy two of these POS's. Then wiring, thats another fun thing... it would be very hard to time it accordingly to your throttle. You would have to use what the NOS system uses, a switch that goes behind the throttle, when the throttle is pressed, the switch is nominated, allowing for power to flow to the circuit. So figure 100$ a pop for each one, then 45$ for the wiring, then another 25-50$ for the custom tubing that would have to be fabbed up... Is that truely worth the -15hp gain. I mean loss, haha. NO, peace foo's

Haha, yes yes I am confusing myself lately. But what I said was serious, in some cases, it will actually rob hp from you. Such as if the car utilizes Mass Air Flow. Dig? Its raping your engine basically. Its putting more air into the cylinder without consent from the ECU. Poor VG . Peace foo's
