crazy idle

crazy idle
After I had fixed the problems with my ignition system, I noticed that the idle was higher, usually around 1500 and sometimes around 2000. I unplugged the AAC valve and lowered the idle speed to 800 and when i went to reconnect the AAC, the idle went back up to 1500 and fluctuated from there to 1800. whenever i disconnect and then reconnect the AAC, i hear a hissing noise coming from somwhere around it as the idle goes up.
vaccum leak?? faulty IAA unit?? i think my O2 sensors are shot too.

b300z, If you haven't fixed your idle problem, go to this webb site, it has some real good information.

thanks topless that helped out pretty well
i checked the aac valve resistance and it is 22 ohms, is that enough to need to be replaced
the air regluatory valve is pretty far off at 122 ohms so that will get replaced.
the connectors were pretty dirty as well so i cleaned those
there was some green stuff in them

I would say yes on those. Your lucky, because mine ohms checked out dead on, so now I'm waiting on the ECU temp sensor to see if that will fix my idle problems, I also had corrosion also. Maybe together we'll get these problems behind us.
