The wole idea of that website is that you buy a complete water/alcohol injection kit............. kinda plug and play. It looks like about a 5% h.p. increase on a n/a. That's relatively cheap $/h.p.

Im kind of stubborn though. I dont like to pay for things that I can theoretically make or do myself. Such as paint, body work, welding, making chemical cooling kits. So i guess my question was, what is the basic setup of one of these systems?

~~im guessing it consists of a pump, lines, resorvoir, and fuel atomizer of some sort. NOw the big question is, where does this stuff get injected to? into the intake manifolds? into the injector harness (fuel rail)?? Im a bit confused. One of you engineering types break it down for me in laymans+ terms

Thanks allot

It sprays a mist of liquid into the intake track/manifold. This helps to cool the incoming air. It works better on a turbo/supercharged car as the compressed intake air is heated up.

There are many ways to set it up. You can run it off rpm, fuel injector signal, boost level, etc. I have mine running off boost fyi.

Honestly, I don't see it doing any good or enough good on a NA 300zx. Not worth spending the money.

Woody your 100% correct unless your running nitrous in a N/A, then it's of great benifit.

Consider it the double zero warning. Like the Surgeon General warning. Maybe add something to your signature to appease the Z demi-gods.

Is that better 91zxtt? I'll most likely get in trouble for not getting there permission before changing my sig.
