car doesnt idle high enough.

my car has doesn't idle high enough, has trouble getting up to speed, and on the left hand side, the exhaust seems to feel normal, but on the right hand side, the exhaust putters
what could be the problem?
car is a 1990 300z

Could be a fuel injector... test the resistance across their leads, should be 10-14 ohms. Search if you don't know how to do it.

iI'm thinking about just taking it to a Nissan dealer and letting them tell me what's up

Did you try checking the ECU diagnostic codes first?

I'm not really a mechanic , I fell in love with these cars because of their aggressive looks and handling but I think I might of bought a trouble maker
