Re: 300zxTT Turbo Upgrade Kit
If it's a street car, turbo lag should be taken into account. 800 hp might be nice, but awfully crappy to get moving. I personally wouldn't go bigger than GT2530's or TD05's. After that, you start dealing with GT2835's and TD06's and thos mothers are huge and will lag quite a bit. Just my 2 cents...

Do you guys think the TD04 Greddy Turbo Kit is alright?Iam planning on to get this because its just a minor upgrade. The Greddy dealer said that it would give me about 350 horses at 9 psi stock but with modifications about 400 horses 15 psi.So you guys think its worth it?

Re: 300zxTT Turbo Upgrade Kit
Hes full of S***. 9Psi is 9psi, and is what the stock turbos run at. You can have the biggest turbos in the world and if it is pushing 9psi you will have the same power as a really small turbo pushing 9psi. You should look into Jim Wolf Technologies (JWT) they made their name tuning Nissan's and specifically the 300zx. Which means their parts are designed FOR the 300zx and not just another bolt on that should give gains on any car.

Yeah, go for the TD04's, they're not bad. I think they are smog legal. Either them or the basic HKS bolt ons were. At 9psi, you will get a little more hp because the turbos efficiency is greater than stock. Add a boost controller (i.e. Profec B) and crank the boost to 12psi, and you will have a quick street car.

Try www.jimwolftechnology.com. Their site isn't the greatest, but it might help.
