300zx na power

ok so I have checked out these forums to find out everything i can on the 300zx na z32's and realized no one has mentioned what cars you COULD be beating. What models of cars do stock 300 non turbos have the potential to beat? as for power what are we looking at exactly. I have heard little bits and peices and some people suggest you could beat some mustangs and other reputable cars but what do you guys think? thanks

Sounds like you are still stuck in the honduh ricer mindset.

"Beating another car" has a lot of variables... most of which is dependent on whp, and skill level of the driver.

thats because there is nothing specific,
theres more than just "car vs. car" for factors.

Not to be a downer, but in the stock non-turbo form the Z32 isn't going to be outrunning much. Heck my Z31 turbo will outrun a Z32 N/A. It's a decent motor, but for the weight of the car it's not doing you too much. Rather than worrying about what you can beat either turbo it or just do slight little things to make it quicker and enjoy it.

just think up car's that you're curious about, and look up 1/4 times. google make, brand, 1/4, and time and you'll get it.

in my experience, the n/a will beat every honda on the road unless it's turbo, give a fox body 5.0 a pretty good run depending on drivers and stuff (they are pretty close to equal so it could go either way), and other than that i don't remember. like what people have already said, it's not about drag racing. the z has a lot more going for it than 1/4's

No, only the TT model (US market model anyway) has the hicas.
