Hands on and being too poor to afford a mechanic really help. I have a lot of family and we've all primarily driven Nissan as far back as I can remember. Everything else I generally learned through reading. These forums are a really great resource to draw from. Anything and everything you want to know about, or if something happens to you/car it probably happened to someone else already. Having a pretty good memory helps too.

WOW!!! I love 69 Chevelles. Lucky bastard! I learned from going to the scrap yard, buying engines, and tearing them apart. I tore apart a 13B(RX-7) VE30DE(Old Maxima) VQ30DE(95-99 Max), anything I could get my hands on, I bought and worked on. But I also took classes at the local community college, and learned a **** LOAD!!! If you havent seen some of my other post, My buddy and I have basically built a FULL carbon fiber 95 GS-X with a 4G63T (EVO III), with 450 bhp (brake horse power, or at wheels), and it only weighs 2000 pounds!!!! It was great, I learned beadblasting, trans. building, how to put cars on frame racks, how to restore a rolled car, all in ONE summer, and it costed me NOTHING. And I am only 17! haha. well let me know how it goes man. peace

That was a big ol PITA!! Just open up paint on your comp, insert pick and right click select stretch/skew, resize (over and over again) until you end up with a pic with dimensions of 80x80 or less. It's easiest if you save after every try. Have fun.

P.S. yep me and my Z. The only lady I can count on
