Patience is a virtue.
U may want to consider buying out of state.
U have like at least 3 other states within driving distance to search in.

up the search radius. i'm in va and within 500 miles i come up with about 20.

how many miles on your car? sounds like something might be a bit wrong if the stang knocked you around like that. i've done a 3rd gear pull against a 92 5.0 and he barely pulled ahead. about half a car length by the time i got to red line. well, by the time he got to redline.

so THATS why you want a TT.... streetricing i mean racing.... dont buy one then convert. anyone sense my secrete inuendo. dude racing liek that is a childish fad when i was into that crap (17) i raced a 90 and a 97 GT both manual walked them and an auto 97 GT spanked it in an NA Z32. then i got busted street racing a swapped CRX. lost 1k in the court system and lawyer and never did that **** again, grow some sense, go to the local meets show off your car watch the street races but do it yourself legally. and occasional fill pull through 2nd gear is fun now and then but trust me none of its worth getting busted over. mature up a bit

I completely understand but that was the first time i ever raced that car against another car and i needed to know where i was at....i cant go to the track iam on house arrest...I love cars and racing is an exhilirating feeling but i understand where your coming from and agree that its not worth going to jail for...maybe know you can understand why i must shop locally, i just dont seem to find any affordable tt 300zx thats why the swap looks like the only option...if i get the tt swap iam looking at for 1800 from the little i know i think i will be missing intercooler piping, radiator, front mount intercooler, blow off valves, boost controler and gauge, patience and hard work...from there on i dont know what else i would need

ok your on house arrest yet your out street racing?

hmmm things just arent adding up here.
if you can go street racing while on house arrest then you can go look for a tt z.

if you arent familliar enough to know what you will and wont need then you obviously arent ready for this kind of project vg motors are a lot more complex then you think have you even looked under your hood and seen how much **** is under there?

yes this happened on my way back from school....yea theres no room to work with and theres alot of things going everywhere...I have never done the swap but Iam studying to be an auto tech and iam not scared of the challenge, i think eventually i will be able to figure it out and everyone has to start somewhere to gain experience, i will be doing the swap at my school with the help of my teacher he is a ASE Certified Master Tech wich doesnt mean 2 much because he has never done this kind of swap but has tons of experience and little by little i dont see any reason why we wouldnt get it running...iam not a complete idiot iam a little mechanically inclined and i love z's so this would be something i would like to learn to do..

LMAO at this thread.

I want a TT.
I want a TT because I was street racing.
I want a TT because I was street racing on my way home from school.
I want a TT because I was street racing on my way home from school while I'm on house arrest.

Quality. As if street racing weren't bad enough. Please neither buy a TT nor convert your current car.

was waiting for it... the zlover stay away from a Z32 attitude lol. love it.

i think you should just enjoy the car you have instead of worrying about how fast it goes till your done with w/e schooling you want to do otherwise you'll never have time or money, Ive done a ground up restoration with my own hands on my S30 and a turbo motor swap on my other S30 that i had to hand wire in the turbo EFI harness and have rebuilt a motor with my own hands (only new bearings hone and rings but all with my own hands) have pulled the engine on S30's numerous times and when i sold all my cars and had the money for either a TT or a bike and a daily, i decided on the bike because i STILL don't know if even I could handle all that goes into maintaining a TT nor the modifications i would eventually want to do. im not intimidated by the engine in the car and the maintenance i can do that's average but more like if i ever had to pull the motor, its a night mare in there and there's so many hidden bolts and such its a bitch to to anything that you cant see from staring at the top of the engine till you do it a few times and for plenum pulls eliminating the heater hoses under it and EGR. its just intimidating and this is something i thought about long and hard, then i got a bike. next summer i might sell it and go TT hunting again or build a real S30 the one of my dreams.

well let me say to the OP, sorry if you are a bit turned off to the forum after all the discouragement that you got from one of your first threads, but if you did a little searching, you'd see that this idea has been time and time again proven to be a poor economical decision. the only reasons to do it are if you have tons of time and money and you want the challenge, or if you have a N/A that is 2+2 or slick top, which makes it kinda worth it. mentioning that you plan to drive recklessly with a 300+hp car on the roads that we are driving on, makes it sound like you are doing it for more of a competitive reason, rather then a... i'll say passionate reason. so all in all, the enthusiasts on this forum find the whole idea quite un settling

i knew that was coming. if you look at this thread anymore, let me just say that i explained the real reason that everyone was being negative, and it wasn't because your car is fast... that was quite a strange response in fact. and nobody said it was an "impossible" job. we all just gave you good advise, that would benefit you if you choose to listen to it.

In a few years we will all look back at this and laugh because by then you will have finally realized that you are indeed a retard. It will just take a few more years for you to figure this out. It's not your fault...go ahead and blame it on your parents for having a weak gene pool. When you finally have it all figured out, please let us know so that we can share in a hearty laugh.
