Tranny compatibility?
I know that the earlier 90's Z's have the problem with the grinding gears in 4th and 5th. I have that problem although it is not that bad (doesn't grind when upshifting unless im racing/accelerating at a high rate). Only grinds if i try to go from 5th to 4th above about 42mph.
Are all the transmissions from the 90-96 Z32's compatable on all the years?
So for example, i could get a 96 tranny on my 91 (with little/no modifications to install) to elimiate this problem?
