+1! Plus the vg torque... Should have stuck with the vg, not as cheap to make same hp but def a great motor. Or the vq45 Nissan v8...

im assuming that you probably don't own a z32 correct? because i would rather give up the extra 500cc's then have to work on the vg30dett or vq45 in that engine bay!!!

Then you have never owned a z32, z32's are easier then **** to work on.

(+1 for keeping the VG, why lose the torque and add a hundred or so pounds to the front of an already front heavy car?)

The vg is a pain in the *** to wrk on. I was tired of it an wanted to do something different. I have only seen a few with this swap an they make good power so why not do it? Why be the same as everyone else

no i do and it is not hard to work on at all, minus working on the turbochargers everything else is fairly easy to access, even more so when the upper plenum is off which takes a whole three minutes to pull.

as for the rb swap, ive seen lots of them, more and more people are swapping. if you wanted to be different why not the vq45? ive only seen one 300 with that engine running in the car... would be sweet if you turbocharged it too. BUT to each their own, and i have to admit the sound of a nicely tuned rb makes me jizz my pants

hoov100 is right. While there may not be much room in the engine bay, if you know the tricks, it is pretty easy to work on. The mistake most people make is approaching things from the wrong angle.

When I look under the hood of my 99 Blazer (which requires removing the wheels to change spark plugs - not kidding), I miss my Z32.
