Question
not for me but my brothers TT
he calls me today and says in the morning the car pulled hard and drove nice...
in the afternoon it felt slower...drove fine but felt like it took longer to spool up almost...morning was cooler, afternoon was 25C (CELSIUS not F shoot me i dont know to convert LOL)
i changed the clutch last summer and it has ~10 000km's on it...slipping again?
i told him to come here and read up on how to adjust the pedal and try again, also i told him to jack it up take the rubber boot of on the fork and stick hes finger in there and see if there is lots of dust...he says he cant smell the clutch or anything yet..so....
any advice appriciated.
god i wish he would just join here and ask!

the z32 rarely drives the same all the time
this is a car that is affected by the ambient temp and humidity of its enviroment. remember it uses forced induction meaning it can only do so much to overcome the laws of nature. Warm air has less O2 in it by volume then cooler air. when you compress warm air you get more water out of it. All of this effects power output. So a car that is a tic quicker in the morning when its cool out as opposed to when its warm out later in the day is pretty normal. If you think im wrong when its runing "slower" get a C02 fire extingusher and use it to cool down the intercoolers and then make another run....notice a pretty big difference? You will.
if you think its the clutch put it in 5th gear and slowly let out clutch....it should stall pretty quickly when the clutch engages. if it doesn't then you have a clutch problem.
