Power steering and hicas problems!!!!
I need mad help...my 1990 has a power steering hose leak and my mech says that i have to pull the motor up to get to the pump to replace the line..... 
.......but he also says i can put bolt clamps on it to fix it....but heavy duty ones not just flimsy ones you use on intercooler lines....power steering is 1400psi...can anybody help me!!!!!!!

Sorry but I'm not sure what it is you need help with. You know what's wrong. You know what it is you need to do to fix it. So what exactly do you need help with? Just fix it and good luck.

There is a leak in the hose on my pws on the pressure side
you cant just patch the hose up there is a lot of psi goin through there.......but i cant get to where you have to replace the hose without pullin the motor out!!!!, and i cant find a repair kit for the pws

Sounds like you need to round up some buddies for a weekend. Buy'em some Beer and get your hands dirty. Like I said before you know what it is you need to do. You're either going to have to pay some one to do it or do it yourself with some help. You don't know anyone w/an engine hoist? You don't need to fully remove the engine, just pull it up a little. Fix/replace your hose and be on your way homie.

I just replaced the rack on my '90 and I highly doubt that you will have to pull the engine to change one of the power steering hoses, maybe the radiator at most! I would recommend replacing the hose entirely though as a damaged hicas system ca get very costly...
