Hey there guys I am currently looking into buying a 300zx turbo model. I currently drive a 3000gt fwd that i put turbos on myself, and it is getting a little to expensive to deal with starting to become a pain.
Can anyone give me a little bit of info on the 300zx, how long do they last milage wise, are they bad about breaking down and having random failures like some other 90's turbo cars, how hard are they to work on, what does the aftermarket look like, how well do these cars handle, what is this car like in the snow, and last but not least how fast are these cars stock and how easy/ expensive is it to go faster.

What is it like in the snow? Get a VR4 - the Z32 cannot handle snow and doesn't deserve to either.
read twinturbo.net's FAQ to find most of the answers you're looking for. And if it'll get you thinking, I'd like you to know that the Z32TT is about equally difficult to work on compared to the VR4 - only thing easier is trans removal (which is something many Z32 owners do frequently).

2nd. Any car-savvy person knows that a car is only as reliable as the maintenance it receives. Buy a shitbox and it'll run like a shitbox. Find a nice one (which will likely cost ~$10k+) and it'll be extremely reliable.
