i had the same problem in my 280zxt my 82 the MPH would go krazy ! then i found out it was a worn cable... what a pain in the *** to repair ! but i got it fixed !

going to be different for yours... different gauge, different method of drive, different car = different places to wear.

... Z32s don't have speedometer cables... all sensors are electronic.
