Okay, in America the z32 was only sold up to 96..
But I'm having a 97 imported. When I'm buying parts, are 96 parts okay?
Does anyone know the differences?

 

You need to buy OE parts imported. Otherwise nothing changes in the Z series until 01

 

I have been thinking of doing the same thing and from the research the only thing I have found out that is different is the tail lights.

 

What's different about the tail lights?
I thought only the 99s had a different style

 

Not entirely sure but read some where, that Nissan changed the tail lights after they stopped importing the 300zx, not sure how factual that is though I have been trying to find a picture and I cant tell the difference for any years.
