the cars nice... but the artistic aspect of the pics lacks... ALOT. bad backdrop bad angles trying to do cut shots with only parts of the car but using boring pieces of it or just not enough... i think you need to look through magazines to get some ideas or watch tutorials on youtube even or read about photography interesting stuff... but i do like the car

When I take pictures, one of the rules I try to follow applies heavily to your pics.

Never cut off the car on more than one side of the pic (especially if the car is not at the center of the picture). i.e. if you're going to have a partial car pic, make sure that you're only cutting it off on one side. Like your first pic should've had the entire front end, the third, fourth, and fifth pics should've shown the car all the way too the ground.

For example...

EXACTLY ^^^^^^ straight up my thoughts. some of the background was nice but was drowned out with only like 1/6 of the car it's just not right... really though i stick to it. nice car and the camera seems to be pretty good quality to.

Yeah, I saw my father driving one day, so we pulled over to talk and he thought I was going to pull up next to him and get out to talk... the result, he opened his door into my fender as I pulled up next to him.

And it has other flaws, but it's for sale for the right price.

for his right price ^^^ jk he's asking a decent price for what has been put into it mechanically. i think you should honestly keep it. all the work and sentiment is alot to give up. but yeah i saw it in person. the pics do a good job of making it purty and though the body def isnt in bad condition... it'll want a paint job soon. rear bumper is what i notice most with the clear. unless im crazy

Sentiment? lol I have no emotional attachment to this particular 300ZX. I will be glad when either it is sold or I can buy a nicer one to swap the mods over to. And if there were a serious buyer, I'd make no secret of what it needs. But I'm not in any rush to sell at all, so if my price isn't met, I'll keep it and end up junking the chassis later when I buy a nicer one.

Fellas --- I know, I jacked it up!! Not the pics though..........the pics turned out great with outstanding backdrops. The problem came when I uploaded the pics, they were too large. When I down sized, I thought I did it enough. Well, its apparent that I could have down sized quite a bit more. I will try it again so the whole car is uploaded.

I'm asking a bit less than that. I'm not "actively" selling the car - it's not posted anywhere for sale. But the word is out that I would sell if I buyer came along. No matter what I sell it for, it's going to be a loss, considering the fact that I only put on the best-quality modifications (and there are a lot of them), but there is only so much of a loss I can accept.

Truth be told, I'm starting graduate school and this car won't be coming with me (I'm moving about 237 miles away). The car will most likely sit for 2 years, as a result. Either it sits and I swap the parts on it to a better chassis later on, or I sell it and start fresh in a few years.

Look at my screen name and as me if I'd do another Z again. lol One day, a Z32 (the fastest of the Z's) and S30 (the purest of the Z's) will sit in the garage while the SUV blocks the driveway.

No, Loyola is only a few miles from me (I'm on the southside of the city, Loyola is on the north). They accepted me, but it's too expensive overall. A different university offered me a fellowship and the cost of living in that town is far less. If I didn't prefer secrecy in my online life, I'd divulge more. ;p

I'm a mathematician/statistician, so I'm just furthering my education in that field. Depending on the workload, I may also get my degree in Philosophy (I'd only need a few credits to do that).

No offense, Eric, but how would you know what grad school is like? For some people, it can be a lot of fun. More fun, especially, than repetitive work in some career I don't like. ;p lol

Absolutely not teaching. I taught summer classes and it just reinforced that it's not what I want to do (I took it only as a job to cover the bills before my move).

Little known fact: EVERY corporation and agency in the world has mathematicians on hand. The NSA is the largest employer of mathematicians in the world. My father's company routinely contracts mathematicians for 5 figure consulting jobs (only a couple weeks of work) doing regression analysis. I've gotten offers from Oxford's Bio-Med programs because they need mathematicians to do statistical analysis of drugs and things of that sort. Any company that produces a product needs mathematicians for quality control (statistical analysis of defective products in samples to determine when the production process is corrupted to the point of needing to be fixed). etc etc etc

If majoring in math was only good for teaching it, there'd be absolutely no reason at all to learn math. Math is how the world works and is the foundation of all science.
