Damn.....you're pretty lucky. That makes me sick to my stomach to see it torn up like that. You could've been torn up just as bad.

Mine happened in Milpitas, CA. I was on my way home from work. It was the day before my birthday. Happy f'ing b'day to me. I was behind a little Nissan pickup. I was trying to merge into another lane. As I looked over my shoulder, the person in front of me stopped. I hit her doing like 10MPH. I wrecked the hood, bumper, driver side fender and the headlight. It needed a new center radiator support also. I drove it home. It would've been no big deal, but the a week later she said her neck hurt, so she went to the hospital. That instantly changes it from a 1 point incident to a 2 point incident; which changes my insurance significantly. It was $11k to repair the 2 cars. There was no damage to the suspension or intercooler in my car. I still wonder how the damage came up to that much. My car was $7k. I didn't know plastic was that expensive. Now I'm finding all of these things beneath my bumper that were repaired incorrectly. It's really irritating.

that sux man, i cant belive she said her neck hurt, bitch.... do you remeber the place that "fixed"your car for you, i would atleast go back and bitch them out... lol.... it sucks wrecking your Z, but, it could have been worse.... .... i couldnt take any stock stuff out of my car, b/c my insurnace company would deduct it off of the money they would give me back.... i was thinking about taking t-top shades, and stuff like that, but i talked to my insurance agent and she said to leave it b/c it would be deducted.... it kinda sucks, but it doesnt at the same time.... ill keep you guys updated on whats happening w/ the new Z, hopefully i will have it soon, but the lady selling it just had a death in her family, like 2 days ago, and i think it was her son, so i dont really want to bother her... other than that, im just looking for another TT z 94-95..... if u guys know of any in the Connecticut/New York/Jersey area, PM me thanks guys... later -dan

It was Stuttgart Motors in Redwood City, CA at the intersection of El Camino and Woodside Rd. Up until the other day, I thought they did a good job on it. On te outside it looked fine, but underneathe was a different story. They just swept crap under thhe carpet. So, if anyone is/was going to take their car there,....don't.

Since I don't live in the area anymore and it was 4 years ago, getting mad at them is a waste. They probably won't even remember it.

It's goin' ok. I started nother thread 'mod updates'. It can be frustrating, but if I'm patient with it, then I should get through it just fine.

The clutch, short shifter and all that stuff came out fine. Sounds good, runs good, shifter's tight. I was able to get all of the rattles out of the center console. Only problem is that it still failed smog with the new cats and O2 sensors. I drove it for abouot 50 miles and then started taking stuff apart. The rest is history.
