New here, have a question (now with pics)

Hi everyone,

Im new to this comunitte. I have always been a big fan of the 300ZX and now im at a point in my life where id like to finaly pick up one.

Right now i drive a 1987 Mazda RX7 Turbo II with ALOT of work done to the motor. But im tired of little issues rotaries have :P
So i found some local companies that will import me a low milage (under 80,000kms) 300ZX TT (RHD from Japan).

I never read to much into the 300ZX, but from othere people i always hear "they have som many problems" and things like that. But searching through the forums here i do not see anything to that effect. Im sure they have there own issues as any car does but nothing crazy?

Can anyone point out some things that i shoudl be looking out for when looking at these cars? Im looking at a 1989-1990 300ZX TT 5 speed from Jpana. So if you have anything to contribute or just say hey please do.

Berz

They're actually the most reliable car I've ever owned! Well, other than the civic, but that was a daily beater. It's the most reliable sports car I've ever owned. They have some issues every once in a while, but not too bad.

Im currently looking at a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo Fairlady Z (RHD)

It has some mild modifications
ie. hardpipes, intake, exhaust, boost controler, turbo timer, guages ect ect

Asking 15k (CDN) for the car. Its immaculat condition and only 73,000original kms with original service history. Its drive like a dreal. And amazing power for a relitivly stock car. I think i will have to purchase this one Become an official member of a Z club :P

damn looks really clean! i love those wheels. anyone know what they are? anyways the front end looks like it's in excellent condition. no rock chips nothing. the only thing i would change if i had that z is the steering wheel. but that's just me. is it me or does the right exhaust look damaged? overall the z looks like it's in excellent condition.

Im not sure if all those cars came over with the Z. I think thats is just pics of it when it was being loaded onto the container ship. :P

They are BBS wheels (forget the model tho), there are things i want to change (de badge the car, remove Z from the steeringwheel, ect)

The exhaust isnt damaged, just the pic :P I also noticed that and he assures me that the car is in perfect shape. I have alos seen the car as it is landed here in Vancouver. It is flawless, no chips, dings, ANYTHING. It looks better than in the pics.
The only thing is that the engine bay is dirty, but that is easily fixed. Hoping to have it in the garage before the winter time comes and just drive the BMW through the winter :P (the only thing an M3 is good for LMAO)
