Intake Hose

Whats better? To get the Z1 Silicone intake hose
or the aluminum intake or just leave the stock intake hose on?
I just bought the JWT Pop Charger and trying to decide whether or not to replace the intake hose too since I'm taking the stock Air box out already

Thanks in advance

They are for purely cosmetic reasons, so it's up to you. I've heard the aluminum pipes can be a pita, I plan on getting the silicone ones.

Yeah I read that the Z32 intake system is already a cold air intake because the airbox is away from the engine bay and its heat. So a cold air intake for a 300Zx is just for looks with the steel or aluminum pipes. So I'm gonna get do the pop charger swap got my JWT air filter in the mail today. Time to rip that shitty airbox outta my car!

Well I finally took the time to take a look at the engine to see whats going on.
First I found a tiny crack at the T-Hose to the throttle body from the Popcharger.
Replace that already and still misfires; did some more test and found out that my fuel injector on #4 cylinder reads 27.5 Ohms..... not good
also #5 and #6 injectors reads 9.8 ohms at time and sometimes it goes at too 11.5 ohms.
All coils checked out fine but seems to be one injector is no good and two of them are on and off I guess.
So I plan to just get a whole new set of injectors even though the other 3 ohm at 12-14 ohms.
Probably a good idea since 3 are going already that means that the other 3 is pretty close to going out too then.

I've heard people talking about getting the new style injectors when you replace them, they seem to be more reliable. Might be worthwhile to look around for info on that.

That idea did come across me but I dont really feel like cutting and soldering on new connectors and everything. Since I'm getting new injectors already they should give me any trouble

Easy... figure out what you did wrong and fix it.

Could be as simple as needing to clean the connectors on the MAF...

Turns out my injectors are crapping out. Guess it was just a coincidence that it happen after i did the pop charger.
I check everything MAF is new and everything it install properly and good connections to. soo I went on to checking injectors and coils. everything checked out fine except for one injector that ohm out at 28 ohms and 2 other injector that barley made the spec. it was 10 flat.
