I NEED AN ENGINE

if any one knows of any good sites whith inexpensive engines please tell me!!

I'm sorry but inexpensive and 300zx tt just doesn't go together, the engine is going to cost you a bit of money, that is if you are including new turbos..

There is a lot to rebuilding the engine on a 300ZX TT, make sure you look at all of it.

i just had my 90TT rebuilt with new heads, turbos, and a new clutch.....cost me 5700 ick

That was so much to rebuild your engine ....

here in australia you can get a japanese import motor for $1450 (AUS$)

True, but have you ever rebuilt one?

For a start turbos are ~AUD$700 each to recond (new bearings, & balance). And chances are you'll want to upgrade at the same time...

If you had to pay for the labour to remove the engine from the car (which is required to do almost any major maintenance on the engine) you would be up for mega $$$.

I spent over $1100 AUD on a standard rebuild of my L24 - and I did everything apart from the machinework & head-welding/crack testing.

Having said all that, if my VG30DETT went out to lunch, I'd buy another one!
