why would you want a 350z projector lens? the z32 projectors are fine. and no, they wont fit.

Hey guys, I got 6000K for mine too. Love them, but I have an issue. I hate turning on my High Beams. Does anyone know if you can put HID's in the highs even tho they're not projectors? Also, NAIIZeater do you have projector fogs? How did you go about doing the 10000K fogs? I'm Very interested.

I'll post my pictures as soon as I get them uploaded.

That looks pretty good. I think I'm gonna buy a kit instead of buying the JDM lights. Whats the brightest one can put in legally.

you can technically put HID bulbs in, but the light is going to scatter terribly.

check your local laws. some places (california) state that you cannot have lights that are brighter or higher wattage than the bulbs that came with from the factory. and higher number does not mean brighter. the brightest will be 6500k, as it is closest to pure natural daylight, or what is also called D65. it is the sweet spot, right in the middle of the visible color spectrum. degrees kelvin does not state brightness, only color temperature, based on a theoretical "black body radiator". higher color temperatures get get away from the middle of the visible color range, and will produce more heat, but less visible light. above 6500k gets into the blues and violets, below 6500k is yellower. ok, science lesson over, unless anyone wants me to go further in depth.

haha yes i know couple of my wheels are on backwards. i was this close to buying the jdm headlamps. but to fork $1600 its too much right now. but hid fog lights dont sound too bad. and yes i would also like to know how to convert to hid fog lamps. also people dont tend to know wat fairlady is. i get made fun of all the time, having to explain wat it means since i have the fairlady badge. but anyway heres another pic. hope its not too many pics.

Wow, looks good!
What kit did you use?
Did you pretty much have to wire one together?

there was a guy last year we were buying our kits off of from eBay they worked great and absolutely NO wiring, it was direct plug n' play. the ballast plug matched our typical 9007 or 9006 w/e plug and the HID bulbs matched the plugs on the other end of the ballast. just gotta mount the ballast somewhere. it was the easiest and one of the best upgrades i did to my Z32. but it was NA so other than test pipes and the biggest mistake of an exhaust i didn't really upgrade it. lol.

thnx for compliments. the kit is a xentec hid kit. yes its plug n play. i had some wiring issues when connecting the wires from the balast to the harness but i got it figured out. at first the passenger's side bulb was always going out. i thought if i was going to go thru hell trying to get ahold of the seller and take forever to get a blub back. but wat i did was i switched the bulbs from one side to another. and one of the connections that go from the bulb to the balast was loose. so i just bent the little "metal tooth" where it makes contact enough to where it was straight and pluged em together and havent had a problem since. but the hardest part is trying to find a safe place to put the balasts. if u dont want to pay an arm n leg for jdm headlamps, this is the next best thing i think.

Pssshh....people making fun of the fairlady badge? That's like some douche laughing at the Ferrari emblem saying "Haw haw haw, yur driving a horse!!". Morons....

Next time someone teases you about it just look at them like they just crapped thier pants until they feel uncomfortable and shut up.

That's not quite right

American cars ARE 300zx the JDMs ARE fairladys one is left hand drive the other is right hand drive. So, unless you bought your car in Japan as a JDM car then its probably not a fairlady. Now, if you had Z32 on the back then that would be 100% correct in any country.
