Car is a 1994 300zx n/a 2+2. Basically, every time I turn the low beams on, the hi beams come on instead, but when i press the brake pedal, the gi beams turn off and the low beams come on. The hi beam switch works just fine by itself. Every time I press the brake, the red headlight warning indicator lights up on the dash.

I've checked all fuses and relays that I can think of, I've disconnected the taillights but the problem still persists.

I'm really struggling here, so any advice is appreciated.
