exhaust system

So im buying a 90 300zx tomorrow and was looking for exhaust systems, one with good sound yet not 900$... somewhere in the middle i guess is what im looking for. not trying to go full race just want to drive around a nice looking Z but its gotta sound good. looking forward to some responses

true...but just cause i like the exhaust, search HKS hipower or hyper exhaust. w/e its called, looks nice sounds good, priced good, probably one of the best performers to.

silliest ricey looking exhaust too.

Just cut the mufflers off and leave the resanator then buy some nice exhaust tips and VOLA sounds awesome and if its done right looks pretty cool.


What mine looks like on one side. (only pic I had of the exhaust)

the price went up for the HKS....its actually pricey now..like around 7 or 8 hundred bucks. hks rose the price.

HKS would be more in your price range, pretty anything else is going to be more than you want to spend unless you want to buy used. That cutting off the muffler idea actually is a great idea, I agree, it looks really good.

really, cause i called a month ago and they said 8 hundred something. it probably was fo the turbo and no what i asked for, which means there is at least one retard answering phones at ultimate..... wiat wait, nvm i think i asked this from a local shop they said that price i called ultimate to prove the guy wrong and it was the normal price. i hate when i mix up stories.

i prefer the twin tip, slightly larger than stock look, ie labree, HKS sport twin tip, stillen twin tip.
