Im depressed

Well I think my Z is about worn out. This week the glove box broke which isn't that big of a deal but I have a very loud poping noise whenever I brake and turn every time from the front end and today it almost quit running on me while driving down the road. Im tempted to put a for sale sign on it and go to the bank and try to get a loan for a low milage TT. So if anyone has or knows of a low mileage TT in really good shape around Texas that is for sale let me know. Im not shure what to do at this point. Im open for suggestions. Also how much are some of you paying for full coverage for your TT's? I need to contact my insurance company to see how much it is.

i'll take a stab n guess tension rod bushing on the popping sound. Must be real bad if it's making noise. The other problem need more info.
Good luck trying to find a TT if that's what ya really want.

I have adj. tension rods that are less than 4 months old but they could be bad...I'll have to take a look at them tomarrow. I donno what might cause it to want to die, could be my battery is kinda what my guess is. Its on its 4th year in the car. I have just recently done 60k service and tons of other stuff like new IAVC, vaccume lines, temp sencers and TPS. Only thing I didn't do is the O2 sencors. I don't know if I could afford the insurance on a TT.

Whoooo, eyes..blurring....mor bad speeling then I cna taik.........

*shakes head*

Ok, that's better. I feel ya man, more than once I've been faced with repairs or at lkeast a potentially crippling repair bill and though "F**k......why not just sell the damn thing.....". Ultimately I end up not doing it and thanking my lucky stars I didn't. It's a special knd of car and it takes a special kind of person to own em and love em enough to keep them around.

/shrug

I've had the glove box thing happen....it's annoying, cost me a bout 75 bucks to get it fixed.

Yeah sorry for the nature of the thread. Just alot of sh*t going on right now with the woman and the car. Yeah its about to turn 150,000 miles and the repairs just keep pileing up. I found out what the poping noise was....Tie rod ends so I ordered a set of SPL's along with everything else for the steering part of the car. It just seems like my list is endless of things that need to be replaced. But it seems now that my relationship with the woman is almost at an end I'll have more money to poor into the car. Can you say TT swap?

I hear that. I went to my friends house who has a ford SHO and his g/f was with him and when I pulled up she turned to him and said "you should buy one of those".

my insurance on my TT is 177 a month for full coverage with a $500 deductible. Maybe higher than most due to being 22, but I'm not sure. and there's nothing wrong with emo!

Hey Emo, long time no talk. My insurance on the vert runs me $319 for six months, but I keep a $1,000 deductable. I think the 05 350 runs me around 350 every 6 with the same deductable. Yeah age has it's perks.

Um,...Bardabe,...I think it's been too long since you worked on your Z. I can't remember the last time something happened to my car and thought, "Oh well, it can't be that expensive."
