Ever seen Boyd Coddington's wheels for the Z32?

Actually, no. It reminded me that I still need to replace the subframe bushings and the front brakes apparently need replacement too. And it ticked for the first 10 minutes of driving due to sitting for so long.
Driving the Z for the first time in a long while always reminds me of the things I want to spend money on... and I can't justify all those things at this very moment.

It was still snowing a little today bro... lol. I just need 1 more nice day to get the gold laid down on the last wheel and then I can install them. Start checking weather forecasts for Chicago... when you see a day above 60, expect pics the following day.

I honestly doubt it. Daryl and I have become less and less impressed with the caliber and attitudes of local Z32 owners over the years, so he and I tend to agree that we're probably done bothering with meets. If anything does happen, I'll obviously post about it though.

ok i will
so did you like the weather today (other than the wind) supposed to be warmer tommorow i believe but with rain. ewww... checking the pressure charts at teh flight desk today it was nutty how cramped the isobars were we were dead center in a high and low pressure system so we had oodles of wind. (if that makes sense to you dont know if your up to date on meteorology lol)

So the completely refinished wheel turned out great...
... so great that I decided I'm going to refinish the other front wheel entirely too, so check back in a couple weeks for install final pics.
Belated April fools bishes....

shut up B that is some good work, they came a long way and turned out nicer than i expected, i can safely say that cause i HATE 3 spoke wheels but approve of those on the car. wouldnt be my first choice but i also wouldnt complain, if this were my car that is.

They weren't my first choice either. Not even my second or third. Or fourth, fifth, sixth, etc. They were an acquisition of opportunity. $230 for wheels that are lighter than stock, 17" (allowing larger brakes), and 275mm in back... it's only a plus that I do like how they look on my car.
Side note: I'll be painting the calipers gold (with NISSAN in red) to mimic Brembo calipers.

like everyone else said not the first chice, however or 230$ you just can't complain. they look OK but definetly good size and offset so it makes up for the design. it still makes your car look better.
P.S. why not just go gloss black on the calipers and polish the "Nissan"

I want the brakes to stand out... black looks too OEM for me. I like the OEM look, but I like it more when it's subtly modified (which is why the next mods will be a Kaminari 60LED spoiler and Stillen Type III lip).

idk... I'll keep thinking about it. I won't be doing it soon either way.

i liked my calipers black with polished nissan, but red inthe same format would work on your car from the colors it is right now, but red is very typical to see these days to.... so idk it wouldnt be original.
