Dual MAF setup

Hey guys, this is my first thread! Recently bought a 1990 JDM 300zxtt and I'm slowly learning the ways of the Z32. Im gonna do intake, injectors, blah blah blah but I have a question concerning dual pop chargers. I bought a JWT ECU and will have the EPROM updated when it comes time to... I just need some clarification as to running dual maf setup. I came across the Selin Dual MAF translator shown here;

Selin Dual MAF Translator

Does anyone know if JWT programs the EPROM for this or does it just run the normal tune as it would with a "dummy" maf dual intake setup. Hopefully my questions clear!

You can do it either way..

With true dual MAF air intake metering and plug-n-play installation this product allows you to upgrade to a dual intake without the need for an ECU re-flash. You could install one in the morning and take it for a cruise that afternoon. Even better, if you have the classic dummy MAF setup and have been considering upgrading to a true dual MAF, the product is DIP switch selectable to work properly with dual pop tuned ECUs.
It says it is switch selectable..

I have the selin dual maf set up, you'll need twin maf to make it work. If you JWT chip is set for single pop then you'll need to run the translator in add mode (good for 800cfm). If tune for dual pop then run it in avg (good for 1600cfm). Also, I didn't have any issues on the highway so didn't need to do the flower pot mod.

some people who do dual intake setup have issues with the maf readings at high speed (highway driving) and this makes the car run rich due to unmeasure air. So they go to Home Depot and buy plastic flower pots and cut them to fit the intake cone to block the air flow. Every set up is different on a car so you may or may not need it. Although it's a good idea if it rains alot where you are from.

Your first mistake is going JWT and not going nistune.. With the selin translator you can run dual MAF without a problem. Besides the pop charger, pretty much **** JWT anything.
