definatly need suggestions fast
well...i need to change my injectors, theres a shop here in chicago that will do it, so i decide to get the drivers side injectors out for now save some money becuase its the only side that has ever given my trouble. i start taking out bolts and crap get every thing out that i thought i needed to to take off the intake maniflod and that thing is still rock solid on there. i noticed underneath each side of the intak manifold is a pipe bolted on and also 2 other bolts on the side. dotn know how i can get those off or if they even need to. so i was wondering if any of you have done this(im sure someone has) and if so how you did it. or if anyone can point me to a write up with mabye like pictures or soemthign i dotn know. but im a bit lost.and kinda really wanna get my Z runing again. im trying to avoid the shop time of 4 hours at 88 dollars and hour if possible but as of right now thats what it looks like ill be doing. which sucks. so yeah HELP!!!! FAST!!!
ok i searched around and foun where this was already sorta posted and then this awsome link to twinturbo.net and saw everything...and that upper intake plenum is gonna be a bi*** like i thought. and what i thought i missed seems to be the only 8 bolts i did miss. its those stupid egr pipes underneath both side of the intake adn the 2 bolts on each side of the intake right by those EGR pipes. this kinda really sux. i also see some bolts i took off that i didnt need to. oops. no bid they are easy to put back on. hopefully thats all i need till i can just pop the intake plenum on. im still open to suggestions on what mabye soem of you have done in the past to make the job a little easier that what this site says http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/plenum/plenum.aspx
get 45degree angled mini-vice-grips and you can do it without grinding away at the plenum. Use the vice-grips to remove the screws you can't reach, and use pliers to pull out the injectors.
keep track of what goes where and you shouldn't have any problems.
Those hose clamps tend to try your patience some. If you can try the angled vice grips route, i'd recommend it. Makes the job much much easier.

thanks guys. if i ever need to do that ill do it. i busted up soem good knuckles for nothing. im dumb and forgot to pull the connectors on the plugs and scrape the leeds inside wiht a small ex-acto knife, yeha it works again. stupid corrosion.

like I said, get 45degree vice grips and you can get those screws without grinding...
