Clutch break in???

I just got my JWT Street clutch installed (thanks Zlover) Wondering if there any break in procedure? My friend who installed it looked @ me and said what break in procedure. I've heard of Higher stage clutches and certain puck clutches have specific break in procedure but it there any rules I should follow for the Street Clutch? I imagine if I drive it for like a month before trying to take it to the track it should be fine but I just don"t want to mess any thing up. Clutch it super easy to push in Grabs nicely a lil close to the floor but I've read thats how it is.

being close to the floor isn't just "how it is". you can adjust that, and should.

Pseudo-experts FTW! Eric said it best.

And to adjust the clutch pedal properly...

guess my lack of driving a car with an upgraded clutch is what threw me off. My friend who installed my clutch and my other friend both said my engagment was great. I just have to adjust from my standard DD clutch feel. Really not that bad now that I've driven on it for 2 days.

I've seen some clutch manufacterers say that there is no break in period for certain clutches, but i would still break it in. it's like a pair of shoes, if nike said "new shoes that don't have to be broken in!" would you put them on and run a marathon? I like to think that any z car part that is a "moving" part should be broken in and thast the general rule of thumb i follow.

I think my friend was kiddin but meant theres no special break in procedure. Like with some puck clutches I've heard you have to dump the clutch 7 times with 10 minutes inbetween. I think he assumed I wasn't taking the Z to the dragstrip that night lol.
