I bought a cargo cover off eBay recently from Japan to find it wouldn't fit. Then I bought the clips to hold it into place as I found I was missing them hoping that would fix it but it still doesn't fit. So now I'm left to ask if there's a difference in size from Japan to US on the cargo cover or even a 2 seater to 2+2 as I have a 2+2.

 

What doesnt fit about it? 2+2 hatch area is longer.

 

Wouldn't the 2+2 hatch area be shorter since there are "seats" taking up the back? But ya as Woody asked, how exactly doesn't it fit?

 

Everything fits fine except that it wont fit into the ports itself. The clips match up just fine with the clips for the hatch it's self and the mounting brackets when they aren't in the ports fit perfectly with the cover. It's just if I try to put it in the ports to lock it in to place to use it-it wont fit. It's to big length wise as in the length from one mounting bracket to the other by no more then about half an inch. If I try to slide the end sticking out in the other side I have latched into the mounting bracket pops out.

I can post pictures if my explanation is hard to understand. Sorry a head of time since I'm not really Z parts savvy.

I'm just trying to see if I made a purchase mistake or if I'm possibly missing more parts maybe.
