Compressor

I actually found mine on ebay. Remember its somewhat year specific and always get new o-rings when putting in a compressor, they only cost a few dollars and you can't reuse old ones.

yes ac copmressors are year specific, i believe they switched from r-12 to r-134 in the 94 models and newer, BUT DO NOT quote me on that.

also remember, don't run your AC at all even to blow air, or heat, you dont' want the oils in the lines to dry out or anything.

i don't think its so much the refridgerant,

its the location of the hoses that changes from early to late model cars. I'm pretty sure just the gaskets change with the refridgerant.

If you have a 91 then you're on R-12 and its the old style.

hey i looked into my a/c problem and it wasnt the bearings in my a/c compressor but the bearing in the belt tensioner so i looked around and the cheapest tensioner was like 80 bucks so.........

i pressed out the old bearing and put in a new one which was like $10.48
heres the website that i got it from they have everything

http://www.mcmaster.com/

hope this helps you guys save some money like i did
