buy a car from z1 motorsports???

has anyone here bought a car from z1. i am very interested in buying a z32 twin turbo and they have a pretty nice one on their website thats for sale...its a 91' automatic tt with replaced engine, tranny and turbos, all of them have 76k miles on em. it also has a few other upgrades. he wants $9,000 which seems pretty reasonable, i've done my research and it seems like z1 is the biggest z specialist with a very good reputation. i just want to know what everyone here thinks about the car and if anyone has purchased a car from them and if it was a good experience or a bad experience.

a little more info. apparently the car was a high horsepower race car but the previous owner blew the engine and parted out most of the car, then sold the body to z1 who put in the engine, trans and turbos. i'm from michigan so i dont want to go all the way down to georgia untill i hear more things about
z1 hopefully good.

you can see the car at z1motorsports.com click on the "cars for sale" link
thanks for all your advice guys

I wouldn't trust anyone more than Z1. It's one thing to buy a used car off the street, it's another thing to buy it from a shop....and then another thing to buy it from a Z specialty shop....I would trust that the car is in excellent condition. Give em a call, see what they say about it...

Buying any used car, at any time, from any seller is risky. I think the guys at Z1 are honest and knowledgable. I've never purchased from them, but they're around the forums, and are spoken of highly. With them being experts with the Z, and they're desire to maintain a positive image in the world of Z, I'd say you're significantly better off buying from them, than from some Joe's Car Lot, or some kid on the street.

canyon carver...exactly my thoughts, just wanted input from other people...i wanted to know if anyone had a bad experience really, and i'm glad that no one has posted a bad experience yet, BUT if someone did have bad service speak up and let me know.
on further note, i asked for pics of the interior 2 days ago and havent gotten anything yet, he'll probably send em tomorrow, he seems like a nice guy...nice but very busy lol
