best aftermarket fuel pump
best aftermarket fuel pump
I might need to change my fuel pump. I have a 95 n/a and oem is 350. Anyone knows what if can use a cheaper one and will it work as well. I know the OEM is actually one of the best fuel pumps around, but it's expensive.
^ I don't think it should've been a joke. If you can't afford to maintain a 300ZX, you shouldn't own a 300ZX.
The 300ZX has a multi-speed fuel pump (your NA has two speeds, controlled by the fuel pump controller). You'll have to modify the fuel pump wiring to adapt another fuel pump. Have fun with that. If you could afford to own the car you own, you'd just buy the proper (OEM) fuel pump.
[rant]I can't stand when people want to cut corners with their cars... hack jobs to fix simple issues on cars as nice as the Z32 make me sick.[/rant]

@murphz32: I responded in french to DuG b/c location says France and was not intended for you. @Zlover4life: I've seen different fuel pumps like Walboro and wanted to know if they are the same or if it's different. I'm learning about Z cars now after having other types of cars. There are many aftermarket products that work well and maybe better than OEM and can be less expensive. It's not about cutting corners and being cheap. It's about learning about options instead of mindlessly choosing from a catalog. That's the purpose of posts: to get informed
