i've heard many agruements about keeping the motor and just upgradeing or upgrading to the sr20dett, or the db26? i've seem many arguements and as the db26 may not be cheap $$$ can't prevent me from having a good time

first off let me start im a beginner auto technician still learning my ways around a car, im in love with drift and i am pretty good at doing it for have only doing it 3 times, i didn't go to school im learning 100% hands on by 3 mechanics of 30-40 years of experience.

PLEASE IF GIVING ADVICE ON AN ENGINE MAKE PROVIDE WHY YOU THINK THAT ENGINE IS RIGHT FOR MY CAUSE, and or if u think i should keep the vg30 please give possible fitting mods i can do with an example of HP?


[btw i can do the swap work and all car work my self so no labor charges so that gives me a little more money to play with so a reasonable price range would be good but im willing to drop as much as i need to into my car to get the horses and weight i need, ik the 300 isnt exactly your ideal light car but i like the weight to power ratio at 450hp-600 (600 if possible?)]



i was told to go with an sr20 swap for the 300zx im looking to buy a decent 300 and swap a good engine that i can up to atleast 450hp? is this possible? is turbo upgrade available for this too?



also, i want the 300zx cause its one of my favorite models, you can try to tell me to go buy a er34 or an rx7 but im doing it for my love of the 300zx and i like 200s 270s and 350s but my favorite is the 300 for reasons i can't really explain, its not just the bodystyle but its more of a they aren't popular, and if u say im an idiot becuase of the handling + weight of the 300 don't bother commenting on this ****...people drift dodge challengers, its not the weight its the controll you can bring with the weight of your car
