Hey I'm new to this forum site and I was just wondering if there is any difference in these style heads besides the cam sprockets and late style lower manifold.
I'm about to change my head gaskets and i have a set of 10Y heads that have been rebuilt sitting there, is there better flow with the late style or is it just that they are the same.
one of the cams on my head seized and I'd also either mis match the heads which I'm sure will not work or I'll have to do both which I don't mind, yes I also know about the advantages of late style ower intake manifolds

I believe the fuel injectors are different between the two NA style heads. You can't mix/match and will need the correct style fuel injection for the head.
