Suspension Mods

I bought some adjustable coilovers to replace the garbage ones the previous owner put on my '91 300ZX TT, which I'll be installing this spring. The thing is I'm kind of lost as to what else should be/needs to be replaced while I do this (suspension is stock aside from the coilovers). I plan on lowering it maybe an inch from what it's at now (which is close to stock I think). I know my left lower control arm needs to be replaced, and I'm leaning toward fully adjustable parts just in case I decide to go nuts one day. So what parts HAVE to be upgraded, which ones SHOULD be, and which could be left as is to be able to properly achieve "standard" alignment? I also plan on getting a HICAS delete kit, and I've seen kits that come with additional suspension parts too, so this is kind of leaning me in the "replace everything" direction though that will be costly. Your help's greatly appreciated!

So it seems camber adjustment is a must, so I'll definitely be getting adjustable upper arms front and back, probably a complete HICAS delete kit from Powertrix plus their front camber and tension rods. How would the OEM lower control arms hold up with these upgrades up top?

If your going full coilover, I would replace every bushing, put solid bushings in the diff, get solid T/C rods and some adjustable uppers front and rear. stock lowers shouldn't be an issue..

Would the differential carrier bushings be what you're talking about when you said replace the differential bushings with solid ones? Haven't looked into bushings but sounds like a good idea, luckily there's quite a while to plan still

Don't understand what you're trying to say there, are you agreeing or correcting or something completely different?

the TT will have the R230 the carrier bushings go into the tabs to the right an left that mounth the diff you have to knock the old ones out (i used a socket that fit the hole) and grease up the new ones an use the stock hardware to re install my 230 is in a 280Z so the cover bolts up to a mustache bar so im not shure how the cover mounts in a Z32 but im shure those bushings are replacable too, great investment! as far as suspension the LCA's are fine (exept the one that needs replacement) new coilover's with the right spring rate new shock inserts and bushings an it'l feel awsome JMHO i try to stay away form the racey parts with hime joins for street use unless you whant to be under it all the time replaceing them i would look into a company called Ground Control they have some nice stuff i would call see what they can do for you
