fixed.
Thanks. I'll pull out the OEM radio bezel tommorrow or sometime later this week and shave the opening a tad wider to accomodate the Sony bezel. The OEM trim piece costs $125 from Courtessy, so, I have no intention of screwing it up!!!

Yeah, the darn dydtem just graduated to a system, go figure, with a magna *** laude or whatever smart people who know how to type graduate with!!!!!

BTW, it's all done. I ground the OEM faceplate this afternoon just enough to take the Sony bezel and it looks quite well. I did ding the OEM bezel some, but you'll have to look hard to see the ding. In any case, I'm happy with the overall look. I have some pics but can't find my camera cable to post. When I do, I'll post a couple of pics - nothing big, but worth a look anyway.

Here a a few pics. In the first photo, notice the uneven trimming job on the left side of the radio. You can also see some poor trimming at the bottom of the radio in the second photo. In real, you have to look close to see these imperfections. Overall, not too bad, but I wish I wasn't in so much of a hurry. In the last two photos I tried to focus on the imperfections on the left. Anyway, now to the POP charger.

Thanks Bleach. Like I said earlier, you have to look for the imperfections to find them. Also, the photo flash reflects more imperfections.

snw, I used a smooth dremel but without a rotary sanding drum. I was just too lazy to replace the hard head with a drum. I figured if I screwed up I'll trade my wife a $125 replacement for a fine Valentine's day present!!!!

Yeah I will agree also. You did a great job on that install. Mine is not perfect in my 280zx. But I am happy with it. And I used the stock mounting brackets. Just needed to drill extra holes, in certain spots. And it is mounted to the stereo console. And doesn't move at all. Once again, great job bro'.

Thanks Wildman - nice looking 280. How many miles on it? My Z experience started with a 280Z while in graduate school in Syracuse, NY. Loved that car. Was eventually totalled by a state truck in a supermarket parking lot!!! The truck was making an "illegal" turn and never saw me. Ironically, the settlement money took care of the engagement ring I was planning for my wife (then fiancee)!!!!
