Sound system

You can put the amp anywhere where it's convenient for its size. Under the rear storage bins or in the spare tire well or attached to the taillight panel are possible places. Personally, I'm attaching mine to the left rear panel.

Some amps can fit under the seats. The passenger seat has some relays that you don't want to unplug. If the amp is larger than that, try to the driver's seat. Make sure you don't have any water leaks that get your carpet soaking wet. I had put my amp on a 1/4 inch piece of plywood to keep it off the carpet. I did run a ground strap to the mounting bolt for the seat.
As for the wires. You can run them under the carpet along the outter edges. The plastic strips at the base of each door come up and there is room on either side of the metal ridge for wires. Also, the center console has some room under it if you unbolt it. My car is a 2+2 so I then run wires under the rear seat and to the hatch area from there.

Passenger seat relays?
What is the deal about unplugging the passenger seat relays? How else do you get the carpet out to make a changeover? Or did you mean permanent unplug or just temporary, that you don't want to do? Any info would be helpful. Also, what do the relays do and what do you do with them if you are putting in after maket seats?

If you unplug them, they explode!!!
hehe... ya, don't remove the relays and leave them out. You'll lose your cruise control and your rear brake/running lights. The cruise you can live without, but the brake lights....
