Wheel Offset/Size

Hey Im looking at a set of wheels for the z they are 16X7.5, will fit both 5-100mm and 5-114mm with an offset of 40mm. These will go on the Z fine correct?

NO! BY ALL MEANS, DO NOT USE SPACERS!! Personal experience with my Red Z31, cuz the factory offset for the Z31's is like freakin' low (around 20 only!): I put 1/4" spacers on each wheel, and one of the fudgin' rear wheels FELL OFF while I was driving on the highway! Fortunately, there wasn't much traffic and I had slowed down cuz I thought I had a flat. If you really must, use some wheel adapters instead....I've never used those before, but can't be worst than the spacers!

For the Z32, you'd really want to get some rims that are at least 17"....otherwise, it really wouldn't be worth it imho. I'm actually shopping around for rims too, and my ideal set of rims for my Twin Turbo would be 18"X8.5" in the front and 18"X9.5" in the rear, with offset arounnd 30-35. The front offset could be slightly higher, since the factory offset is higher for the front wheels. Hope that helps!

BTW, just get a set of rims that's 5X114.3 fitment. The "universal fit" for rims is usually a good indication that they're cheap and not worthy to touch your Z. Besides, having ten lug holes on the rims is just plain ugly!
