Re-upholstered seats nightmare

Re-upholstered seats nightmare
My leather in my 94 300ZX was totally trashed. I had been talked into doing vinyl that imitates leather, but I got the car back today and it's awful. My clothes stick to it so I have to constantly adjust my self to get comfortable in them and they smell like chemicals. Needless to say 700.00 later, I'm really bummed.
Now I want to redo them again but with leather. Every place I go to on the web says there's is the best. Had anyone had experience getting there seats re-upholstered in leather and been happy. Or can anyone recommend a really good leather dealer?
I'd very much appreciate it.
STAY AWAY FROM VINYL!

vinyl is garbage for seats. i would take cloth over vinyl any day, for comfort AND looks. vinyl just looks cheap. now i'm kinda on the fence about cloth VS. leather. cloth seems to resist wear a bit better, is cheaper to replace, and is cooler on hot days. leather looks a bit nicer and feels a bit nicer. as for importsextreme, they seem to do quality work, but are a bit pricey. and dont forget install and shipping. if you can get it all done at one local shop you might be better off. i wouldnt neccesarily write off the shop that did the vinyl just yet. it's not their fault that vinyl sucks. look at some of the leather work they have done and make your decision.
