Jspec Fascia Weight
as the title implies, anyone know the approx weight for the jspec fascia ? im hoping its lighter than the stock fascia, which my goal is to make my Z ultra light, hence that i bought a slickt

I don't think it's going to be much lighter than stock, since they are made out of same material. if you want to make it ultra light, take out your cd player,ac,speakers, spare tire, passenger seat, shift booth (lol),and replace all the bolts and screws in your interior with self-tapping plastic clips. and you should be good to go.

if your serious about going for an ultra light Z, try removing the sound deadner from the floor board it weighs a ton, you can remove all interior panels and chop out a lot of the metal that is underneath, like the double thick doors. Just dont expect to be able to open your window again. You can also swap out all your glass with plexiglas and drop your fuel tank and replace it with an in car fuel cell. Its gonna be hard to make this car light since its got such a fat *** and so much metal everywhere, i'm not sure the fascia will make such a difference by itself, but good luck.

imho...... you'd want the same weight or heavier front fascia for durability purposes. no matter how hard you try, it'll hit something sometime. If you go lighter on the fascia, go carbon fiber. There are none that I know of.
Plexiglass or lexan scrathes too easy.
