If the bulbs are good and not loose, you might have a loose wire or a wire that rubbed thru the insulation and is rubbing against metal.

It means there's a short on one side.

Had the same problem, it only happened when the lites were on(h-lites). left flashed fast like a bulb out and the right flashed normal. Had corrision on the contact in the left front, took out cleaned and replaced. it fixed it. Those cars are just too smart it even knew I had the Japanese bulbs still in the tails when I changed to the jspec. Different resistance, showed the Tail warning indicator on the dash.

I was confused since the behavior is so intermittent. Looks like I'll be check the bulbs. Thanks for the replies.

If it's intermittent, then it's prolly a wire that's grounding itself and shorting the system every now and then.

Probably a bad connection. If youo have corrosion in any of the sockets, then it will create different resistance levels and cause the bulbs to blink unevenly.

11. If the turn signal blinkers blink at a high rate occassionally (usually just on one side), check the ground on the side that is blinking too fast. It can short out and may even cause it to stop blinking. An electrical shop can redo the ground for about $25.
