The problem with it is that it turns on when it wants..the lights and channel does light up, but the signal to the speakers gets when the damn thing wants to..whenever it turns on or off, it makes this CLICKING sound on the back on the of the head unit (at least thats where i hear it from), is this something common on the bose, or just though luck!...

 

This isn't uncommon. The stock blose system sounds good when it's working, but it's generally crap. Get an aftermarket system.

 

if you realy want to keep the stock bose sys. there is a place in ca. called fast track for 200.00 they will referbish the head unit thats what i did in my 94 j30t
