Ya he did. I bought a pair off him and love 'em. He did a great job on them! Don't know if he still does tho.

got your e-mail today, I might do another run on them... give me a couple days to get myself organized and I'll let you know (I moved, so I need to figure out where all my tools ended up).

Just FYI, though, they are frowned upon in the general Z32 community.

yeah.... they are neat, but they are by the "enthusiast" the honda guys will eat em up and im surprised Zlover likes and makes them.

Hey the way I look at is: Beamers got 'em. I got blue ones from ZLover, I changed them to white, cause I thought the blue was too ricie. The white ones look just like the BMW's. I know 5 other "enthuestists" who want a pair too. One guy is 47. They can't be that frowned upon.

Well, not really what I was getting at, but.... you're right abiut the hondas. I just think all projector headlamps should have the lighted ring around them.

And you're right about the colored ones being a bit ricey... I'm changing mine to white (from blue) also (I was going to hold off until spring to make my new set - the gapless ones now since the ones on my car are the original gapped set - but since I'm going to make some for other people, I might as well make my own now too).

In the end, I've always supported modding your car in whatever way makes you happy (your car, your money, your decision), but people need to understand that just because they like it does not mean everyone else likes it. If you, as an idividual, can deal with other people not liking your car, then you are in a good state of mind - I could care less what tt.net thinks of my angel eyes or my Hi-Power exhaust or my blue gauges etc.

And Eric, while I am a Z purist in many respects, I'm also not an automaton conformist... as I pointed out, there are several mods I've done to my car that make me happy despite being frowned upon in the general Z community. I mod my car for me, and no one else - I just wish everyone else would too, because it seems to me that most people in the community base their mods off what other people think are OK, and philosophers and psychologists would agree to call those people cattle.

haha... no i really like the angel eyes personally... i was more or less stateing the hypocritical Z32 fanatic that is no body mod sort of stuff. i did go back and read that post and it came off as like i support it.... however i still dislike reverse glow guages ... i like the idea of changing the colors your guages light up its cool as hell, i jsut think they look crappy in daylight. like, changing the guage face to white. it just looks unnatural to me.

EDIT: and i never new how many people frowned upon the Hi-power exhaust either... i love that exhaust... jsut cause its canister mufflers and angled? sorry for making the best flowing echuast? lol

LoL... I guess you didn't catch my sarcasm. My point was exactly that... angel eyes on any other car is ricey... just like BMW fenders on a Honduh... ricey. I love it when people don't get simple things. Oh, and it's YOU'RE not YOUR.

No problem man. Just be very careful when prying up the class on the headlight and when bending the leads on the LEDs into place - if those snap, the LED needs to be replaced. As long as you're not twisting them around or spinning the angel eyes around like a lasso by the wire, they'll be fine, I just want to make sure that you know to be gentle with them. If you have any questions about installation, feel free to ask.

(By the way, I don't remember what my instructions say to use, but I found that hot glue doesn't really bond them to the housing very well - one of my angel eyes is actually falling off because the bulb melted the glue enough. I recommend loctite brand super glue or epoxy now.)
