Thanks I always wondered what the exact numbers where for slicktop Z's made.

Where does that rank us as far as in the list of orginially produced Z's rarity?

Saw a 280zx 2 + 2. those were pretty rare, first year they made 2 + 2's.

thats not exact. there are a few more or less, the exact figure escapes me at the moment, but its very close. the rarest slicktops are the very few '90 automatics.

It doesnt matter how rare your Z is, if its NA its slow *especially if you have automatic trans*. If its twins turbos then you have speed, fun factor is 10x better and you get more respect!!. especially if you have a 2 seater 5spd Z32 VRRROOOM!.

TRue, but for my opinion Buying an NA Z is like buying a v6 Mustang.
v6 Mustang owners think* they can run with the big v8s but you know its not true. but i think more then half of the people here will agree they would rather have twins to show more ballz in the street or in the track.

300zx are not meant for show, there meant for GO!

the difference is, the NA z was designed as an NA sports car, not as just a base model like the v6 stang. thats part of what killed the Z32, the NA and TT were different enough that the manufacturing costs got to be too much.

well...I can't bring myself to sell my 240z or I would sell that and get a beater. I may just put new carbs on my s30 and DD that car and store the TT. and I just graduated from college....so that means even teh parental support's going....nooooo more money at all!
