Your kidding right? A '99 VG motor is one of the worst to get a hold of. The best VG30DETT with the most power out of the box is the '95 motors. Thats before all the OBD-II junk ruined it. Besides, even IF you managed to convince someone to import that particular motor. You would run into the same problem the '96 model Z guys are havin with finding aftermarket motor parts. As for the JDM bodykit, have u seen the prices for the J-spec headlights?! I think they're beautiful, but the costs are outrageous. If you want anything awesome that no one has yet, try to get a hold of a real '99 Nissan Fairlady 300 Z Nismo S-tune or R-tune. I hear the chassis are stronger in those b/c nissan redesigned them before they discontinued the car in 2000. As to the remarks about the JDM front bar being the best, have any of you guys seen the JUN front bumper. It looks the same, but comes closer to the ground.

Bardabe...^^^he's right about that '99VG30DETT. It is OBDII and finding performance parts won't be fun. Go with a '91-'95 motor. I didn't really think about because I know you're still quit some time from doing that swap.

hey copper, remember that meet that we were at and didn't even meet? hehe
Well, i saw a few WW, Stealin', and assorted front bumpers that were in need of better fitment, BIG TIME. The JDM on yours looks perfect, factory perfect. That's why ppl love the JDM.

Yah, I am very pleased with my front as well. I believe I am getting the WW sides this summer, but I really want the Bomex, but the review they got on 300zxclub.com I don't know .

I'd go with either Stillen or WW on the sides.

Since it serves absolutely no purpose for us on the street, I would consider it rice.

actually it does. see when we are passing through dips and stuuf like that our cars come pretty low. that lip can saveour bumpers some pain and bondo work. I think it serves a purpose. I just wann know what you guy's think. but thoughtI'd let u know. it does serve a purpose. I much rather scratch the bottom of CF. than the paint in my bumper.

Actually, it's one more little thing hanging a little lower that when you do hit the ground, you'll bust/crack/tweak the lip and your bumper a little faster. That thing'll be great for catching pieces of tire, little dogs, cats and rabbits and other road hazards that you'll come across. It'll also help direct all of the little projectiles into your radiator.

I do understand your justification for the coolness factor tho .......

We did tell you what we think. The underside of my bumper is all scratched up. Nobody can tell though because it's on the bottom of the bumper, so who cares.

Yah, my pet Smurfs get pretty pissed off when they go to hide under my car and see all the scratches. I never hear the end of it.
