300ZX Kit Choice

I was looking at the JDM J-Spec fascia and Wings-West, and I cant really decide. im going for an aggressive look mostly, and im still deciding between those two. then someone told me of Nismo's kit for the 300zx, and ive never seen it, if anyone has pics of it let me know. thanks

{edit} btw, heres my Z http://e.1asphost.com/Seraphic/My%20300ZX%2003.jpg

This site has more links than you'll need to find what you want.

IMO, the JDM is the best looking nose piece around. I like the JDM wing also, but it runs $800 :bling:. Wings West in nice. I like the 94+ wing also. Stillen makes some nice body kits. Keep in mind that nothing will fit as well as OEM.

the knockoff is fiberglass and is said to have problems with fitment and quality

I have the Stillen Front and Stillen Rear on my new Z :spot:. Nice looking pieces over all. I also have the Stillen Type III Wing which is basically a larger scale JDM Wing.

Mmm I would definitly prefer the JDM wing, but price is double the Stillen Wing and I get compliments on the Type III all the time (and not from RICE HEADS!! before anyone mentions that  )

I like the type III wing. I've considered using it on my car. I like the wing you have on your new car, b. It's fairly similar to the JDM. I like the JDN nose much more. IMO, there's no comparison. I have the Stillen nose too, so don't take offense, Fairlady.

Go team [expletive deleted]! But serious, nothing IMO is better then JDM. I want to get my hands on one of the 99's. Those look like a tasty dish. :coffee2:

Well, I know first hand that the JDM fascia fits perfectly...if you make sure to take your time installing it that way! For most aftermarket parts, however, the problem is always with fitment and longevity. I'm not saying that the Wings West (which is my fav of the aftermarkets) would definitely leave gaps, but you'll REALLY have to work for perfect fitment! And as for the nose....please do try to keep it simple. Nothing with five slits, ten holes, and made of carbon fiber!

Amen to simplicity. I love the lines on my car. It's definately to a Z owners advantage IMO to compliment the design instead of remake it.
