could anyone give some info on the differences between the 2+2 and the 2 seater, cant seem to find in depth info but parts always seem to be seperate for the two.

 

If it's anything like the 280ZX, then the only real differences would be with the T-Tops, Doors, Hatch, and the Hatch release cable. Generally everything in the engine bay is the same. You just have a long driveshaft, fuel lines, etc. There may be slight suspension differences as well.

 

I have a 93 2+2 and I can beyond a shadow of a doubt that my car has twice as many seats as a 2 seater.

thanks, the chart is very informative, not to keep asking stupid questions but where is the extra length, the doors and mid section mostley? or will 2+2 doors and hatch swap w/the 2 seater? i cant seem to get to the faqs section

 

The 2+2 is 8.5 inches longer than the coupe.
No the hatch won't swap, no the doors won't swap but the doorskins will.
The Ttops are also different. then there's the extra seats thing, but i'm guessing you already knew that.

The extra length is all from the B-Pillar back, and the window support on the door is taller.
