VG33ET Oil Pick Up Tube Help

VG33ET Oil Pick Up Tube Help

Anyone know what modification is needed to the oil pickup tube to work with the VG30ET oil pan? Im not understanding what it says in this write up. http://www.zfighterperformance.com/VG33.htm Thanks in advance.

You have to cut the part where it interferes and weld up a new piece to the correct position. TBH though, I wouldn't even bother with the stock vg33 oil pump and just swap cranks and oil pumps with a vg30. Or use the vg30dett oil pump and crank and do a little modification to the block.

I thought this option would be easier *sigh* I guess ill pull out the vg30 crank then...

The way I read it, if you use the VG30 oil pump, you can use the VG30 oil pan so you can use the VG30 tube.

If you find out what needs to be welded an how i can do it. Im a certified welder i work in a machine shop as a tig/mig welder.
