Speedlimiter question

Hey guys I'm curious. What is the speed limiter set at on a 1985 300zx 2+2 non turbo? I've only gotten it up to 120mph, but I ran outta road. Still no luck selling my 300zx. Anyone wanna buy one?

So what's the fastest anyone has gotten a non turbo. I've gotten mine up to 120 and I would see if it goes higher, but I promised my g/f i'd quit speeding.

Don't. I got nailed for 92 in a 65 as I was slowing down to "normal" freeway speeds.

I got the euro n/a to about 210 Klics, the US one to about 150 mph could go faster, but I have not finished replacing things, like a timming belt.

ps. It is best to use a GPS, because that is more correct than your speedo. Because mine was saying 140mph, but the GPS was saying about 148 mph. Remember, these things were made in the 80's they are not that accurate, plus they are getting worn out.

I just got my 87 NA to 134 last night, but the freeway started turning a bit too much for that speed. I thought there was a 130 limiter on it hough?

Rock on bud. Nice call safety wise. I made the mistake of hauling *** on a windy road and it almost resulted in a roll over, but luckily I was able to correct it just before it happened. That's why I don't speed at night unless it's in a straight quarter mile.

Around 147 on new tires and alignment on an Arizona highway. Man, are they smooth. That was the max it would go. I had a few things in the car and I was on a tiny incline. But, I am sure it could go a little faster, but not much. That was my '92 n/a. Still haven't had a chance to push my TT to the max. Maybe on another trip to AZ (inside joke for Entropy).

180 KM/hr is 111.85. Fast, but still within standard production car speeds. P*&^Y!

You know, I have a bad habit of hitting the Z31 forums with my Z32 coolness . But, I know that the Z31 had pretty good speed to it. It had a little less power, but def. enough to hit 130-140.
